Frequently Asked Questions About Fame Hen Party Dance Classes
Our Fame hen party dance classes are £140 for one hour or £160 for an hour and a half, plus venue hire costs. We require just a £50 deposit to secure your booking. This flat rate covers your entire group, whether you have 5 or 25 hens. The price includes a professional dance instructor and your fully choreographed Fame routine. Venue costs vary depending on location and requirements.
Your Fame dance class features the iconic soundtrack including 'Fame - I'm Gonna Live Forever', 'Hot Lunch Jam', 'Out Here On My Own', and 'I Sing the Body Electric'. Our instructors recreate the energy of the High School for Performing Arts, including the famous cafeteria dance scene. We'll have you dancing on tables (safely!) and mastering those dramatic Fame moves.
Our dance studios are located in Edinburgh city centre, just 5 minutes from Princes Street and 10 minutes from Waverley Station. We have venues near the Royal Mile and Castle. For groups preferring their own space, our mobile instructors can come to your accommodation or hired venue. We confirm your exact venue location within 5 working days of booking.
No dance experience needed! Our Fame classes are designed for all abilities - perfect for complete beginners. Your professional instructor breaks down the routine into simple, dramatic steps that everyone can follow. Whether you're a natural performer or have two left feet, you'll master the jazz hands and leaps. The class is about living forever with your hens!
Get your leg warmers and leotards ready! We encourage full Fame fancy dress - think dance attire, sweatbands, and that 80s performing arts look! However, comfortable gym wear is perfectly fine if you prefer. Many groups love matching 'Fame Academy' t-shirts. We provide fun props at our studio to complete your performing arts student look.
Groups of 5-11 can comfortably fit into either the hour or hour and a half session. For groups larger than 11, we recommend the 1.5 hour session. Here's why: in a one-hour class, the first 12 minutes covers welcoming your group, getting set up, warm-up and group photos. The last 8-10 minutes is for filming your final routine and wrap-up. This leaves about 35-40 minutes for learning the choreography. Larger groups need more time to master the routine together, making the 90-minute session ideal for ensuring everyone feels confident with the moves.
