Irish Dancing Hen Party Class in Edinburgh

Our Irish Dancing hen party classes are £140 for one hour or £160 for an hour and a half, plus venue hire costs. We require just a £50 deposit to secure your booking. This flat rate covers your entire group, whether you have 5 or 25 hens. The price includes a professional dance instructor and your fully choreographed Irish dancing routine. Venue costs vary depending on location and requirements.

Your Irish dancing class will feature traditional Celtic music including 'Lord of the Dance', 'Riverdance', traditional Irish jigs and reels, and classic Celtic melodies. Our instructors choreograph routines to the most iconic Irish music, incorporating step dancing, Celtic movements, and traditional Irish choreography. We also offer a popular commercial option with an Irish twist - perfect for groups who want just a hint of Irish flavour, like dancing to 'Bewitched' or other commercial songs with Celtic elements. We can also customize your playlist to include your hen's favorite Irish tracks.

Our dance studios are located in Edinburgh city centre, just 5 minutes from Princes Street and 10 minutes from Waverley Station. We have venues near the Royal Mile and Castle. For groups preferring their own space, our mobile instructors can come to your accommodation or hired venue. We confirm your exact venue location within 5 working days of booking.

No dance experience needed! Our Irish dancing classes are designed for all abilities - perfect for complete beginners. Your professional instructor breaks down the routine into simple, rhythmic steps that everyone can follow. Whether you're a Riverdance expert or have never tried Irish dancing, you'll master the moves. The class is about having fun with your hens and embracing your inner Celtic spirit!

Think Celtic comfort! We encourage Irish-inspired outfits - think comfortable clothing that allows movement, or traditional Irish costumes if you have them. Many groups love wearing green outfits or Celtic-themed clothing. We provide fun props including scarves and accessories at our studio to complete your Irish look and enhance the Celtic experience.

Groups of 5-11 can comfortably fit into either the hour or hour and a half session. For groups larger than 11, we recommend the 1.5 hour session. Here's why: in a one-hour class, the first 12 minutes covers welcoming your group, getting set up, warm-up and group photos. The last 8-10 minutes is for filming your final routine and wrap-up. This leaves about 35-40 minutes for learning the choreography. Larger groups need more time to master the routine together, making the 90-minute session ideal for ensuring everyone feels confident with the moves.
